What this policy covers
This policy describes the current Barlo website. The iPhone app is in development. Its screenshots contain illustrative sample data; they are not a place to enter or store your own training records.
App-specific privacy information will be provided before release and will describe the features actually available.
What the website uses
You can browse without an account or submitting personal information. The website has no registration, purchase, waitlist, or workout-submission form.
A server must receive basic connection information to deliver a page, such as an IP address, request time, requested file and browser information. A hosting provider may retain operational or security logs. This is different from visitor analytics, which the website does not use.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection information to deliver and protect the site. Its network may process requests in multiple countries; provider-specific operational retention remains to be confirmed.
Cookies, tracking and device access
- No analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking or visitor fingerprinting are included in the website.
- The website code does not set cookies or write to local storage, session storage or a browser database.
- Scroll position, preview selections and motion controls are used in page memory to display the experience. They are not submitted as analytics or saved by the website between visits.
- Fonts use your device’s system fonts. Website scripts, images and other assets are served from this site, without third-party embeds.
- The website does not request your camera, microphone, location, contacts or training data.
Your browser may still cache public website files and maintain its own browsing history. You control those through your browser settings.
If you contact us
If you choose to email Barlo, the recipient receives your email address, message and anything you attach. That information is used to respond to your request and resolve the issue you raise.
Please send only what is needed. Do not include passwords, payment details, medical records or other sensitive information in an ordinary email. A privacy or security enquiry does not require your full workout history.
Your choices and requests
You can browse without providing training records, disable JavaScript, turn off motion, and use your browser’s privacy controls.
You can ask what personal information is held about you and request access, correction or deletion. Your rights depend on the laws that apply. We request only information reasonably needed to verify and address a request; a legal obligation may require some information to be retained.
If a concern cannot be resolved, you may also contact the privacy regulator that applies where you live. No right to make a complaint is restricted by this policy.
Security
The website is designed to minimise data collection, use its own bundled resources, restrict executable scripts and disable unnecessary browser permissions. The legal pages are static and require no JavaScript.
No website, device or email system can guarantee complete security. The final public hosting setup, HTTPS and response headers must be verified before launch. If you find a security problem, report it privately through the contact below and avoid accessing or sharing anyone else’s information.
Updates and contact
Changes to this policy will be reflected in the date above. If the website adds a new collection or tracking feature, its privacy information must be updated before that feature is introduced.
Operator and privacy contact: the operator’s legal name and public contact address are awaiting confirmation. This page remains a pre-launch draft until those details and operational disclosures are complete.
